 Nestled in the heart of The Wye valley lies The Crown at Whitebrook. An old drovers Inn that has been lovingly brought into the 21st century.Many old features remain but elegantly dressed tables and modern art on the walls reflect the interpretation on modern cuisine. Head Chef James Sommerin runs the kitchen and you can be tempted by fresh seasonal fare such as, Oven roasted loin of venison, chestnut, celeriac, espresso and dark chocolate. To finish let yourself be tempted by Caramelised pear, thyme and butterscotch. A comprehensive wine list with many bins at under £20 make this a reasonably priced fine dining destination. They claim to be one of the first Restaurant with Rooms in Wales and with 10 modern bedrooms it is definitely worth an overnight stay. A full Welsh breakfast awaits you in the morning and the same staff are there to greet you.A true Michelin star experience.
