At a recent visit to Cole's Chop House in Napa, we had the most delicious cocktail called a 'Red Pear'. Our thanks to Cole's for giving us the recipe:-

Cole's Chop House Red Pear Cocktail Recipe

1.5 oz pear-infused vodka (750ml unflavored vodka with 2 peeled, seeded, quartered pears - infuse for 3 weeks)
1 oz pomegranate juice
.25 oz fresh lime juice
.25 oz simple syrup (for recipe: www.cocktails.about.com)

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all ingredients. Shake well. Strain into cocktail glass and garnish with a slice of lime.
