Ever wondered what all those applications on your iPod are, and how to make the most of them?
The key to all this is iTunes. Get an account, get registered and get with it. You can manage your existence on this planet with this one application. To do lists, calendars and the address book from your PC can all be carried with you wherever you are. Need to take your holiday snaps with you to impress all your friends? Albums are so last year darling. Load the said photos into your PC and then using iPhoto or one of your folders select the pictures that you want , press ‘Apply ‘and hey presto! Hours of boredom to inflict on your nearest and dearest. Long haul flights bore you rigid? Then shopping in the iTunes store for a movie to watch is heaven sent. At around £10.99 for the most up to date releases surely this is money well spent. TV shows are also available why not catch up with Lost (if you can)? After downloading the latest blockbuster, treat yourself to an Apple composite AV cable (£29). Connect it to the TV in your hotel room and your movie will play in all its glory on the slightly bigger screen. Finally, the humble radio. Purchase a tiny FM receiver attachment (around £35), plug it into your iPod and you can pretend you’re listening to something hip and with it.
