The CheeseWorks is a small shop with a big cheese selection.

A family owned business, located in Cheltenham, with a small, experienced team, dedicated to providing  customers with the very best local and European cheeses.

From the first recorded british cheese (Cheshire – The Doomsday Book) and cheeses famous across the Roman Empire (Cantal & Roquefort), to modern takes on old classics (Devon Oke, from a 17thC recipe) and completely new cheeses (Gorsehill Abbey’s ‘St Wulfstan’), they have something for everyone.

For six years the Cheese Works team has been sourcing, tasting and promoting fine artisan cheese and include among their customers a sprinkling of Michelin stars and passionate local chefs. They aim to deliver that personal touch, so whether you are looking for just one piece of perfect cheese or a cheeseboard for 80 the friendly and knowledgeable team will help you pick what’s right for you.

There is also a popular website shop where you are able to indulge yourself as well as treat friends and family to cheese based gift boxes and hampers. The shop is an Aladdin’s cave of all things cheese-related and in the run-up to Christmas, heaves with seasonal produce. No matter how busy they are, they always offer a friendly and informative service to customers and, wherever possible, invite them to taste something new.
